Question about Bona

I purchased a spray bottle of Bona cleaner for my hardwood floors. Do I use a wet rag or a dry rag to wipe the floor after spraying the cleaner? Any other tips I need to know?

Re: Question about Bona

  • Bona has a swiffer-type cloth you can probably purchase for using the cleaner....otherwise I think you could try a towel.  They say it can be wet or dry but if the cloth starts getting dirty to rinse then ring out most of the water.   Another recommendation is to vacuum before to get most of the dirt off the floors.    I really like the way my floors look after using the Bona cleaner.

Thanks. I saw the mop thing but I was feeling cheap and it was $15. I'll try a dry or almost dry, damp towel.

  • I think as long as it's a clean soft towel I think you'll be good!

  • I think a dry towel is fine.  I've had several people actually go out and purchase a bona mop system after seeing my floors.  I have 2 dogs and a cat and they can't believe how wonderful my floors look.
