First off, just wanted to wish everyone a happy first holiday as husband and wife 
There seems to be a disconnect with the board lately (I know I'm not the only one who thinks so...), so I though it would be a good idea to do a short "getting to know you" survey...I guess to reorient us all to each other

3. You and your husbands occupations I'm a registered nurse and Kal works in the IT dept at a financial firm
4. What hobbies do you and your husband have? I like crafts and reading...no real hobbies I guess...Kal loves working out at the gym and playing softball when in season
5. What city are you currently living in? Any plans on moving? Staten Island, N.Y. We just purchased our first home in July, so no plans on moving for awhile!!
6. Do you have any pets? Two cats (maincoons)...that are still with my mom...we haven't put a fence up yet 
7. What is your "one year plan"... Fix up the house more (our backyard is bare!!), and try to do some more traveling before baby comes
8. "Five year plan"...Starting a family...I would love to go back to school but I know that is crazy talk while trying to work and raise babies...so just starting a family in the next 5 years is ok with me

ARUGH!), and we had to let our 3rd dog go to the rainbow bridge just before the wedding. His name was Taj and he suffered from a severe case of epilepsy. He was a beautiful red merle Aussie and he was my heart dog. I miss him terribly.

3. You and your husbands occupations I work in online/email marketing and am a part-time grad student, Oliver is a statistician and works for a market research company.
4. What hobbies do you and your husband have? We both are trying to get more active (at the gym). We both like to read, though I do more so than he does. I'm trying to get into scrapbooking. Oliver is outdoorsy and loves hiking/climbing and kayaking. We both like going to new restaurants and trying craft beer and wine.
5. What city are you currently living in? Any plans on moving? We live in Los Angeles, but we're both from the east coast (Buffalo and Boston). I'm applying to grad school full time, and if I get in (*fingers crossed*) there's a possibility we could be moving to Boston or NC. I've been in LA for 7 years already!

4. What hobbies do you and your husband have? We are pretty boring! I like to read and love my TV shows. Lance and I both like to spend time with our close group of friends, playing cards etc. I wish I was more crafty, but I was born without the "craft gene."

We're sports nuts. Most nights are spent watching games or trying to catch highlights of games we might have missed. We play on several organized teams, and love competitive activites in general. 7. What is your "one year plan"... Landscaping this spring, turning my office into a walk-in closet for us and other remodeling/redecorating-type stuff. Oh, and we never took a honeymoon, so it would be nice to get away for a few days.
8. "Five year plan"...I'd love to get a bigger house. I'd also like to get my master's so I could teach full time. We're not planning on having kids, but that could change.
9. What would you like changed on this board to make it more fun and post worthy?? In general, I don't have a whole lot of expectations for a chat board, so I'm happy to go with the flow with whatever happens here now that we're not planning weddings anymore!

3. You and your husbands occupations.. I am currently in retail, even though i have a phlebotomy license. Aaron works with his father, he owns a concrete business.
4. What hobbies do you and your husband have? We love going to church and reading our bibles. When we have time we watch our dvr'd shows. He loves his xbox & i love the computer.
5. What city are you currently living in? Any plans on moving? We live in Olive Hill, KY. it is a VERY small town about an hour outside of Lexington, KY. We defiantly want to move to a bigger home, but not far from where we are now. Aside from my father, all of our families live within an hour from us.
6. Do you have any pets? We have one cat, abby. My mom (who lives right beside us) has 2 pit bulls, so we claim them as well.
7. What is your "one year plan"... We are trying to save money to move into a bigger home. But mainly, get better jobs!!
8. "Five year plan"... Hopefully in five years we will already have a child, or two.

4. What hobbies do you and your husband have? I always hate this question - I don't have any real hobbies and neither does Chris. We spend a lot of time with our family and friends, and love watching sports. Does that count? I also enjoy reading when I have the energy to do so.
5. What city are you currently living in? Any plans on moving? In a suburb of Houston. We will probably move out of this small house to something bigger in the next few years, but will stay in the same area.
6. Do you have any pets? We have a tean year old dog - a pit bull - named Dottie who might as well be our kid. She's the most wonderful dog I've ever known.
7. What is your "one year plan"... Prepare for the baby that's coming in June...I'm very much looking forward to starting on the nursery when we find out what it is next month.

3. You and your husbands occupations I am a stay at home mom and Chris is on lay off right now. He might be going back to work in about a month or two.
4. What hobbies do you and your husband have? I read when I get a chance to, crafting, I love to volunteer. Right now I am on the board for the PTO for my sons school. My husband has been creating a online game server since he has been on lay off. He loves to fish and go hiking.
