Big news!

My dad got engaged on Monday night!  I got the first phone call yesterday, it caught me a little off guard but I am so so excited for them!

He was happily married to my ex-stepmom for almost 14 years and she decided she didn't want to be married anymore but instead of telling him, she moved on to another relationship (this was a few monhs before my wedding.)  He was so depressed for a while, lost weight (he was thin to begin with), and basically said he was just going to be a hermit.  Then he found this lady, they'd actually gone to high school together and Matt & I went to school with her kids.  Her son is my age and her daughter is a year older than Matt.  They just work together so well, she'd been divorced once and her 2nd husband died rather suddenly when we were in high school.  He makes her happy and she makes him the happiest I've ever seen him.

So I just wanted to share!
