Do you use the city of GR trash bin?

I posted about an alternative to Waste Management a few months ago but we haven't switched yet.

The city website says the 64-gal size is $40 per quarter. That's about half of what we pay for Waste Mgmt, but the WM fee includes taxes, fuel charge, etc.

If you are a GR trash bin customer, can you please give me a more accurate idea of what our bottom line is going to be? I don't want to go through the hassle of switching if it's going to come pretty near the $84ish we spend at WM anyway.

We have the 64 gallon but I pay for it by the year because there is a discount when you pay for it all year.  I wish I can give you exact numbers but I think I paid around $110-120ish for the whole year.  They are terrific though....and I love the new recycle cans.

Brilliant! Thanks a bunch. I'll look for that option when we get our paperwork in the mail. DH will love that idea!
