Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

People are so rude!!!
Co-worker texts me last night that she's puking. I tell her ew gross and not to worry about coming into work and I'd cover anything pressing she had to do today.
She shows up this morning anyhow saying she still feels bad but HAS to get a report out so she came in anyhow.
Since then she keeps coming over here and walking INTO my cube to try to talk to me. She is also having "issues" with her computer and keeps going from cube to cube asking if she can use peoples' computers to try to get her stuff done. She has computer-hopped between 3 peoples' cubes in the last hour. Nothing like spreading the disease!!!! 3 days before Christmas????
I have washed my hands 100 times in 4 hours, I keep dousing them in Purell in between washings, and every time she comes in my cube I just give her the "fish eye" over my shoulder and don't really fully turn around to hear whatever she is saying. LAME! STAY HOME IF YOU ARE BARFING!!!!!!! Or at the VERY least, hole yourself up in your cube!!!!!!!!!

I finally IM'ed her through our office communicator and told her I was avoiding her and to please us the IM if she needed something...I also said, no offense, but it is 3 days before Christmas and I'd at least like to keep my family healthy through the holiday!!!
She was all "Oh I understand, I don't want it to spread". So ya go use 3 people's computers????
Whatever. I'm bringing Lysol to work tomorrow and hosing down my cube!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stomach flu is so sneaky too!!! You think you are being so careful and it still always seems to rear its ugly head!
I have to say I am guilty of coming to work very sick before a holiday, but we are basically forbidden to take sick days the day before a holiday break. We recieve a salary deduction if we do (regardless of the circumstance).
Grooooosssssss. I'd probably don the ol medical mask by now, lol!

If I have a sinus infection, I almost always go to work, but never with a stomach bug.
DH had this Sunday/Monday and I caught wind of it last night for a little bit, but hopefully it is out of my system already.
Good for you for telling her to stay away, I like the way you did it too.
If I'm puking, I do not want to go anywhere! I do not want anyone to see me in that condition! She's insane!
(And thank God I have not had to deal with morning sickness at all.)
