As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. So i go to Stop and Shop yesterday at lunch and i am in line at the register and the lady in front of me asks the cashier to ring up everything but her cookies becasue she wasnt sure she had enough money to get them. so he rings it all up and i am stnading there waiting for the woman to pick change out of the bottom of her purse so i handed the cashier a dollar to let her use. The woman was happy and thanked me and handed me the change she dug out of her purse already.
so then she leaves and the old woman behind me in line tells me that she is going to go before me because she is only getting 2 newspapers and she has the correct change. WTF. (I had maybe 10 items to buy)
you try to do something nice and then you get stepped on 2 seconds later! When she left even the cashier was like "i guess it your turn now"

My Aunt was telling me that the other day she was at S&S and the woman in front of her was short about a dollar, so my Aunt gave it to her. The woman NEVER.THANKED.HER. She just took it, gave it to the cashier and left. Even the cashier was like "wow...that was pretty shitty!".
People suck hard sometimes!
Wow! It's one thing if she actually asked if you minded if she went first... but to tell you and just do it? Yeah. Reallllly rude.

That was so nice of you. I was at a dollar store once and a little girl only had a dollar and not the 7 cents for tax so I gave it to her. it made me feel good.
Now as far as the newspaper lady, i would have said um no you are not. It is my turn. I always speak up for myself when that stuff is concerned. We were at the Rockettes show waiting in line outside for Santa and this couple with their little girl started to walk right in front of us for a picture and I told them that we were waiting and we were actually next. She gave me a dirty look but what do I care.
