My sister was set to leave Charlotte at 3 EST to get to Houston at 4:30 and then fly out of Houston at 6, to get to Sacramento around 8:30pm. Her flight from Charlotte is delayed so much that she is going to miss her connection to Sac. She is pissed, and will probably have to stay the night in Houston. There is a later flight out of Houston but it is doubtful she will get on it on Standby. Otherwise the next flight to Sac is at 9am tomorrow morning.
I just p!ssed her off by saying, "Well, if nothing else you will get to see a little bit of Houston." She was very short with me and then hung up. Oh well. So I will either being going at 11pm to get her or 11am. Either way, I am going to get an earful when she arrives.
Re: My sister's flight is delayed
Because according to her, the world revolves around her and her wants & needs. It isn't my fault her flights are delayed, but I will get the earful of how horrible the experience was, how they lost her bags, how nothing went right, how she had to spend the night in Houston where she has never been, how she missed seeing Emmalee, etc. Then she will remind me of the trip every time she flies out here in the future. It is just how she is. I do not take it personally, it is just her. I listen and say "Uh huh" every so often and let her rant. Then forget what she said 20 mins later. I love her, but she is annoying sometimes.
I hate when flights are delayed. My SIL flight from New York was delayed on Monday. She was supposed to get here around midnight, and was delayed until 3 am. I made DH pick her up!
