Anyone ready for Christmas to be over?

I'm sure I am the minority here...but I am so excited for Christmas to be over already. It just seems like it's been going on forever. I'm already having morning sickness, actually been before I even got my BFP, so anything Christmas related ie Christmas music, is making me sick. I cannot wait to take down all of my Christmas decorations, lights and tree! Usually I am not like this, so I'm just going to blame it all on being pg.  That and all the shopping, wrapping, shipping, christmas cards etc is just draining me.

No real point to this post. And I sound so whiny. I promise I am not normally like this! haha

But....I do hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday season spent with those you love! :)

Re: Anyone ready for Christmas to be over?

  • For me myself, I can't wait until it is over. I am tired of shopping and dealing with the worlds grumpiest people. I am tired of all the freeking Christmas music no matter where I go. I am tired of the commercialism of the whole thing. We grew up very poor and were happy to get one or two things from Santa. Now, kids want sooooo much. I am just over it...

    Yep, bah humbug..lol

I NORMALLY love it too!  This is so not me :(

  • I can't wait til its over so I can stop feeling guilty about not being able to afford presents this year.  We spent $10 on a gift for my niece, $4 for a friends baby and $4 on DD.  My parents have already gotten so much for DD and us and I'm pretty sure the ILs are going to spoil her as well.  I know its not about the presents but I was hoping to at least get people some sentimental gifts or homemade stuff.
