Portsmouth or Norfolk Area

Does anyone in these areas know any cheap/reasonable nice extended stay hotels. I will be needing to stay at an extended stay hotel until we can find an apartment. Any suggestions will help. Thanks

Re: Portsmouth or Norfolk Area

  • Without knowing what you consider cheap/reasonable it's hard to recommend anything. I'd also be leery, personally, about staying in an extended stay in Portsmouth especially. They tend to not be in the best neighborhoods.

There are several in Chesapeake, in the Greenbrier area specifically, that I would consider more seriously. What their rates are, I have no clue. It's not far from Portsmouth or Norfolk either.

  • My husband stayed at the one in Greenbriar before I had moved down here. He liked it because he was convenient to everything.
  • Thanks so much for the advice, I just made it to VA today and we are staying in the Chesapeake, Greenbrier Area and it is really nice over here. I hope I don't get into any trouble, with all the shopping malls over here.
  • If you or your husband are in the military you can stay in the navy lodge for cheaper than you would spend at a regular hotel. Hope everything is well! Big Smile
