Bridal Shower Locations? *Edit*

I have to plan a bridal shower for June. The wedding is at the Palm Harbor White Chapel and the couple lives in Clearwater. They are having a lot of OOT guest that will be at the shower so I don?t want to have it too far away. And some place that isn?t really expensive would be great! Even if it was a type of rec room would be fine. Anyone have any ideas?

Edit: My mom said I could use her house. It's her best friend's daughter that is getting married so I don't think she will mind. But, my mom's house is in Citrus Park area of Tampa. Do you think that would be too far away?

Re: Bridal Shower Locations? *Edit*

  • About how long would the drive take?  I would say that it shouldn't be more than about a half-an-hour maybe.  However, I do prefer showers at houses because I feel like it is more intimate and comfortable.   How many people will be attending (will it be large enough?) And it would save you a lot of money.

  • I emailed my friend?s mom to see if everyone has made travel arrangements yet. I am still waiting to hear back but I would think the drive would be around 30min or so. I like having showers at houses too bc I would have more control over all the decorations and food. My mom?s house would be big enough I am just worried about the distance. I would hate to have everyone drive an hour just for the shower.

  • If it's 30 minutes I don't think that is bad.
