What to do. RE: Evil Store

B's boss gave him a Evil Store GC today.

It's $25.

Now, you all know I don't shop there. Hell, I have never even set foot in a W.

So what do I do with said card. Do I go and use it to buy B2 toys?

Re: What to do. RE: Evil Store

  • Can you send B there on his own?  I avoid that store like the plague, but DH has no problem going.

  • If you have something specific you know he'd like/want/need you could have someone else who does shop there (me) go and pick up said item for you, lol.

Or maybe someone who does shop there would trade you $25 cash for it?? (Not me, cause I'm broke - lol).

  • Brandy, B doesnt shop there either.

    .

  • I swear there is a website where you can either sell or swap your GC for one you want.

  • Never knew that existed.

But in a snarky kind of way... Why on earth would you jip yourself out of money?

Bonus to those who buy a GC for cheaper than what its worth.

  • Ditto Tami, if there's something you want, send someone else to spend it for you.  :)

Or, trade it for cash or even give it as a gift! (though anyone that knows you well would side-eye that gift, hahaha)

  • I would never use the website to sell a card or trade or whatever you do, LOL.  I just remember someone talking about it.  I'd either just suck it up and buy something for B2 there or re-gift it to someone who shops there.

But now that I remembered the name of the site I'm gonna look at discounted cards!!  haha

  • Funny. I'm pretty sure I "liked" that page on FB this morning. They had some contest going on that ends today.

IDK ... I kind of just want to be there to watch you walk in the store for the 1st time! LOL

  • You could spend it online so you don't have to actually go IN the store.

  • You could spend it online or you could hold on to the gift card and regift it in the future, as long as there is no name on the card no one would ever know.
  • isnt B in the union?? im suprised his boss would do that?

  • If you're really that upset about it drop it off at a food bank or shelter.

Tis the season for giving and they don't care...hehe
