New baby-pink longsleeve tee.
I spilt something on it, pretreated and threw it in the laundry machine (off) to handle later with other light colors. Went about my day.
Someone was a dear, and tried to do laundry for me - a load of jeans - a load of jeans with two pairs of new jeans in it.
The dark dye greatly altered the baby-pink shirt - it's much duller and not a pretty pink, though the color is not splotchy with denim dye.
Unfortunately, the pink shirt was thrown into the dryer - hidden in the pile of jeans.
I've rewashed the shirt in detergent (we use dye/scent free) and cold water. Still dull.
Any hope for returning it to bright?
Re: Brighten laundry?
my only idea...if you are brave/willing...would be to soak it in dye.
if you are looking for a pinker shirt, soak it in some watered down red dye. it may make it brighter, but it will be extremely hard to get it back to it's original color.
good luck!!
