My brother love the scrapbook album I made him of his 4 years at college (he graduated last year). I was so happy he loved it
My Dad's album...I was a little nervous about it bc I wasnt sure if he would like it or not. He didnt really have a reaction (but my mom told me later he didnt want to get emotional in front of everyone). I thought he would have liked it more.
The pine cone fries starters...my Dad has already used a few, and likes to watch them burn up in the fireplace.
My IL's got food gift baskets filled with home made treats and jams- and loved them. They couldnt believe I made all of it.
My nephew, I made a crayon roll- he tossed it and went on to open the next present LOL (but SIL thought it was adorable and couldnt believe I made it). MIL called my mom to tell her how amazing and creative I am on Christmas day. That was nice to hear.
Yeah, I had plans of so many more gifts but ran out of time. Im thinking I will start in January this new year, LOL!
Glad they enjoyed it all. Men are so funny, but I am sure he loved it.
I am probably going to be looking at ideas the next couple of months and then start on things. I am thinking about doing baked goods, but I am not sure.
I do know that I am not making handmade cards this year, as I already bought our cards at Target.
I enjoyed doing the craft stuff, but I think I over extended myself this year.
After the rush of the next few weeks are over, I will also start compiling a bookmarks folder on my mac of ideas for next year. I am definitely starting a lot earlier this year.
I did SO much baking it wore me out
I baked for 5 days straight. Definitely doing that earlier as well. I should do a blog post about those recipes soon.
I might try to make our cards next year, not sure yet (I only send out about 20 but would like to add and include you girls in that).
We did good this year I think!
