We're a residential program so we can't actually ever close, but I went in today to pick up my laptop so I can 'work' from home tomorrow.

We've been dying for real snow here in our house, and now we're going to get it!  DH was going to be home anyway tomorrow because it's his day with James, and I'll still be on the clock, but I think I'm going ot work from home which means I'll get a little stuff done and then spend some time romping in the snow with my little man too!

We came home from Maine early due to the storm... but I'm still excited... mostly because I took tomorrow off and I dont have to deal with getting to/from work! (though I did actually consider going in tomorrow since I'm home... DH told me I'm crazy)

We had to come home early, too!     My parents are only home for 2 weeks and then head back to Florida and this is the only time we get to see them.  Sad the weather cut our time with them short.  It also ruined an opportunity to see a friend I haven't seen since we got married.  Boooooo!  But it will neat to see Nolan's reaction to his first real snow!  I'm super hoping we don't lose power!!  Not fun with a baby.

Not me. 50 min drive to work on a good day, so not looking forward to my drive tomorrow. We NEVER close on snow days because snow storms are busy times for us. Job security at least though, I guess, right?

I don't mind the snow ... but I'm sooo not looking forward to the drive tomorrow!  My car is just not great in snow and my office never closes for weather.  But I think I have some personal time left so maybe I'll take a snow day!

I don't mind the snow, but not the 10-18+" they're predicting here...

DH is in Florida visiting his mom, I'm sick with a terrible cold, and have no way to clear the driveway.  We had dropped off the SUV at the garage to get a 4th opinion on what's wrong with it, but with that much snow, I'll need it to get to work tomorrow - the Courthouse never closes.  I had to clean off the car to bring it over to the garage and then clean off the truck to bring it home - and leave a note to explain to the garage why they now have my car instead of my truck.   And then will have to figure out when I can get the truck back over to them.

... but it's pretty...   LOL

I'm excited!!

My boss it going skiing and Brielle is going to her memere's for the day so that means I get to stay home and work on all things Delia, I have a sudden need to get this stuff done! Plus on top of that DH didn't have to go in tonight so he will be awake tomorrow while I am at home, even better! Plus if the snow clears up early enough in the afternoon my sister is going to come over and put the birds in Delia's tree mural.

I already have plans for Vegetable Beef and Barley soup with homemade bread....as long as we don't lose power I will be a verrry happy girl.

I'm not a big fan of snow, but it will be fun to play with Abby.  Santa brought her a new sled!  He also brought boots, but a size too big.  Could NOT find a size three!  We'll see how she does!

ME!!!  I had off this week anyway because of winter break, but I'm still excited.  I'm actually disappointed that it wasn't a more crippling storm...I was hoping for "Blizzard of '97"-type city shutdown.
