Been to see any good movies lately?
Re: Been to see any good movies lately?
See my review below if you want - I haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaated Black Swan. HAAAAAAAAAAAAAATED.
I really want to see The King's Speech. I think we'll wait for Little Fockers to come out on DVD.
you are the first person i've head that hated black swan. i haven't seen it and want to read your review but i don't want to have it "spoiled" for me.
My review doesn't actually spoil anything but I thought other people might chime in with more "spoil-y" spoilers so I added the disclaimer. :-)
I'd be curious to hear why people like it if they do.
I will say that I think Natalie Portman did an amazing job with the character. I just don't particularly care for that character or the story....or really anything else about the movie. Her transformation in the movie was quite extraordinary though - I'm sure she'll win at least something for it!
I haven't seen it, but a movie critic on TV yesterday (can't remember who) called it a "very well made bad movie." Whatever that means.
ETA: re: Black Swan
- Martin Luther King Jr.
That completely makes sense.
