As lame and grown up as it makes me sound my favorite thing was a deep freeze.

Actually, I received a digital picture frame from my husband that I have been wanting for years!!  We have two fridge/freezers at our house, but I would love, love, love a deep freeze one day!!

A t-shirt that I've really been wanting.  It sounds so lame but it had to be ordered and DH has NEVER ordered anything online before.  He's so computer illiterate that it really meant alot to me that he ordered it.

I got a silverware chest from my mom.

 

My dad gave me his mother's antique (stamped 1934) silverware set for my birthday last year.  I asked for a silverware chest for Christmas so that I could properly display/keep it.  DH and I polished the whole set in about an hour.  It looks awesome!

DH bought me customized license plates for my car. I haven't picked them up yet, probably will this week or first thing next week. I can't wait to be rocking them on my car this year!

Dh got me a dslr .. And I am in love!! I've gone a year without any camera and I've been attached since receiving. Now I need to find a dslr got dummies class

That's awesome though!  I was looking through your pictures on facebook and was thinking to myself "man, I wonder what kind of camera she has?"  Glad to know it's a T2i.  Some day, I'll be able to afford one for myself.

We got on from craigslist for under $100.

 

I think my favorite present would be my Cotton Bowl ticket. Can't wait to watch the Aggies Beat the Hell Outta the Swamp Kitties.

Thanks... although I'm embarrassed to say that I haven't taken it off Automatic yet.  

My mom bought "understanding exposure" (a book) for me that is supposed to be awesome at teaching you about the camera and possibilities.  I also have been lurking on the photography board a lot and have lots of websites and other things bookmarked for when I have a little bit more time to sit down an learn.  I am dedicated to learning how to shoot in Manual mode... it's just going to take some time.

Hmmm we didn't do a whole lot of gifts since we just booked for our wedding trip to the VI (and we're leaving Thursday!!! Yay!!) but I think my favorite apart from that was a coat from BR.

I'm totally jealous of the camera, too!  Some day.. maybe when there are children involved, I'll pony up for one!

we dont' really do the present thing. usually, i'll just buy something he really needs or has been wanting to buy, but i don't bother to wrap it. and since DH didn't get me anything at all, i ordered some groove crops and a yoga tank from lululemon for myself.
