speaking of a big, giant elephant...
in regards to jaye's post...
i'm most likely going to DD this later, but for those of you that were on the DW board with me, planned your weddings along side me, and have been friends for years now...(and obvs some of you already know this)
but kyle and i are getting a divorce. which really, really, really sucks. i'm okay, bc i've been mentally and emotionally dealiing with this for some time now, but i figured i had to let you guys know eventually.
so there it is. the big giant elephant!
Re: speaking of a big, giant elephant...
I am so sorry to hear this, Samantha! And I know what you mean about dealing with it. I shed my tears about my marriage 2 years ago when it started going downhill and I had "moved on" mentally and emotionally by the time it was actually over. Life is too short to be stuck in a bad marriage. I wish you the best of luck with moving on! There's actually a board on here called Starting Over that's a little slow right now since it's new but has some great, supportive posters! You should come by sometime.
And if you ever need to rant about something (like the many giant elephant moments that seem to follow divorce) feel free to email me- jebuell at gmail dot com. You are far from alone in this!

I'm so sorry you are going through this, I hope the holidays weren't too terrible.
A good friend of mine got married last June and they just finalized their divorce last month. One thing that has really helped her is a group she joined called Divorce Care. She was a little intimidated at first since many of the people are older and have kids, but they have all embraced her and given her a lot of love and support. They have weekly meetings and she now actually looks forward to them.
Whether you join something like that or not, I hope you are getting a lot of love and support from the people in your life, and of course you can always turn here. I hope 2011 brings much better things your way!

I think you rock. If you need anything, like a vacation to wine country, just say the word. I have room for you anytime. xxoo.
I survived the RoLex wedding and all I got was this lousy husband.
