Engagement Party places in the city
My friend just got engaged (yea!) and we want to throw her & her FI a party. Can you give me ideas of places in Logan Sq, Andersonville, Lincoln Sq, or Ravesnwood (neighborhoods with street parking) that would have a back room or free party room and we could get an appetizer/beer-wine package? Trying to keep the cost down and not pass any cost onto the guests or the FI helping us plan!

In Lincoln Square (my hood), I'd check out Trattoria Trullo (Italian), or maybe Bad Dog, Fiddlehead, or 42 N Latitude. I'm actually babysitting tonight while a woman I sit for is hosting a surprise birthday party for her husband at Mrs. Murphy & Son's Irish Bistro-- it's awesome but might be a little more costly. Right there is Brownstone, too, whcih might be a cheaper in-between option.
