Help! Need a good lasagne recipe...
I am SO not a good cook and I really need a fairly easy lasagne recipe for this weekend. Preferably beef or turkey. Thanks for any ideas!
Re: Help! Need a good lasagne recipe...
I like this one for something different, but not too different.
If I want traditional I use this recipe, but eliminate spinach and alfredo. Sometimes I use half ground beef and half sausage.
So yeah, I use the recipe on the noodle box!
Red and White Lasagna by Prince Pasta
Ingredients
12 lasagna noodles
15 oz ricotta cheese
10 oz frozen spinach, thawed and drained
2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded and divided
2 eggs
1 lb bulk italian sausage or ground beef, cooked and drained
26 oz jar marinara sauce
26 oz jar alfredo sauce
chopped fresh parsley
Directions
Cook pasta according to package direction.
Preheat oven to 350.
Combine ricotta, spinach, mozzarella cheese, 2 tbs parmesan cheese, parsley, and eggs in a large bowl.
In a 15x9 baking dish spread one cup marinara sauce. Layer 4 lasagna noodle over sauce. Top with half cheese mixture, 1 cup marinara sauce and all of the cooked sausage. Layer 4 more noodles, remaining cheese mixture and marinara sauce. Top with 4 remaining noodles. Spread alfredo sauce evenly over the top: sprinkle with remaining parmesan cheese. Cover and bake for 40 minutes, uncover and bake for 15 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.

The photo on it is crappy, but this is awesome and super easy. It's turkey, too.
