Hi everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful holiday!! I had a wonderful Christmas with my daughter and husband and our huge extended family (even in spite of driving all over Phoenix and back again for 4 days). It was so much fun, but OMG - it is nice to be home and not in the car!! hehe
And the best part - Bella finally napped!! Woo hoo!! We were going on like 6 days of no nap, except for short cat naps in the car which left her a smidge cranky and tired... ;-)

Hi! Glad to hear u had a nice Christmas & Bella finally took a nap! Sounds like it was def a busy one!
I had to work all day Christmas from 7am-7:30pm, so my 1st AZ Christmas wasn't too exciting.

Sounds like you had a good one even with the driving. Don't you hate the car naps?! They're short and unsatisfying yet they SHAFT you on the real nap time!!
I try so hard to avoid driving during her nap time cuz I really need the time either to nap myself or get something done, but you can't always do that, huh? I remember some dad at the playground calling out to another, "Yeah, so you're no longer doing naps for Connor, huh?" and I was froze inside, like, "You gotta be kidding? That better be WAY off for me!!!!!"
We had a good xmas and baby totally scored on presents. MIL especially was out of control, but I put half away to surprise her with later. Best present was this soft remote control car that she surprisingly can handle, its hilarious.
Hope you and your family have a wonderful NYE! Anything fun? We may do dinner but it depends on whether we get MIL or Gma to sit.

FMD - tell me about it on the naps! She has seriously been on major nap strike lately. It has been killing us! Even before we went to Phoenix (and all the stimulation and people and going places did not help when we were in Phoenix).
I am NOT ready to give up her naps yet. She's 20 months! WAY too young for that!!!! I soooo hope that isn't happening! lol

It was actually pretty restful this year, which has been our goal in determining the mix of traditions/time/stops/etc.
Haha, I certainly hope the nap strike is over, she already pushed it to 6pm WITH nap time, any less and she'll turn into a bunka at 4pm...
