Re: music recs?
Oooooh, isn't the Nook awesome! I've had one for about 6 months now, and absolutely love it! However, I teach middle school reading and language, so a lot of my books are for 12-14 year olds (haha, but I love reading them). I usually use my Nook for books that are more adult and toward my own interests. I love anything by David Sedaris, who is a humorist, and I like the Sookie Sackhouse series even though they are raunchy and, in my opinion, not the best writing ever, but they're light and easy to read.
As far as music goes, I really enjoy Muse, Anberlin, Gavin DeGraw, and the Goo Goo Dolls.
I don't have a nook but a few book recs would be the Time Travelers wife by Audrey Niffenegger. I just finished it and it was great. And The Guardian By Nicolas Sparks. On of my all time favs from him. Another one of my favorite authors is Mitch Albom. All him books are must reads IMO.
For music I love Jack Johnson, Matchbox 20, train. Have fun with your gift cards!
