Two Part Question

Hope everyone had a great holiday.

Can someone tell me how many weeks you can collect TDI for pregnancy?

Does anyone have any recommendations for day care for infants in the Narragansett area?

 Thank you.

Re: Two Part Question

  • typically you can collect TDI for having a baby for 6 weeks vaginal, 8 weeks C-section.  If you have other medical complications it could be longer, but your doctor would need to state that it is medically necessary for you to be out of work.  you are allowed 13 weeks of maternity leave, under the FMLA laws, so this leaves you with aprox 7 weeks unpaid leave from your job, unless your company is more generous and will pay you for part or all of your leave.  Check with your HR department for their policy.
  • email me at abatista zero eight at gmail dot com for day care recs
