PG Check In
Just scheduled my anatomy scan for Thursday next week, excited to see her and make sure everything is good to go! I have a small bump starting, it's less beer gut looking, which is nice. But somehow I've woken up with a stomach virus? Everything I'm eating comes back up, alone with congestion and a headache. I think I have a fever too, but we have no thermometers in the house, so I've sent DH to go buy one so I can check. This isn't how I wanted to spend my day off..
No cravings recently. Like none at all... the first time all pregnancy.

My appetite is finally becoming somewhat normal again though I still have major aversions to quite a few things, especially pizza.
DH and I are now discussing the NT scan and today I am contacting our insurance to see if it is covered. I tend to worry and really cannot decide on whether or not to have it done. ::sigh::
we just got back from our anatomy scan and everything looks great!!! 20 weeks today, can't believe we're halfway there!

Pooks, I'm a huge worrier but we didn't end up doing it. Mainly b/c I didn't have enough time to figure out if insurance covered it and get down to Richmond where we'd have to have it done in the time frame they told us it needed to be conducted. Plus the blood test they did relaxed me enough to be okay with not getting it done. The anatomy scan however, I couldn't have relaxed without that.?

It's definitely more bump looking now, Thursday it just looked like a pudgy beer gut thing. My next piccy sticky is at 20 weeks. That's when my next photo will be
Pooks, I'm a HUGE worrier. I worry about everything, even crap that doesn't matter. For instance, I'm currently worrying about where my baby shower is going to be held, and that wont even happen until April! I'm nuts! Point to this is.... My insurance covered the NT scan, so we went ahead and did it just for piece of mind. Plus we got to see our baby again, which is always nice.

TTC since 1/2010 - Dx with Stage IV Endo
11/10 - 100mg Clomid + trigger + IUI + Estradiol + Progesterone = BFN
12/10 - Unmedicated cycle due to RE not doing treatments in December = BFN
1/11 - 100mg Clomid + trigger + IUI + Estradiol + Progesterone = BFN
2/11 - Same sh!t, different month = IUI cancelled due to no response = BFN
IVF #1 - Start stims (Follistim) 5/10, add in Ganirelix 5/14
ER 5/21 - 13 retrieved, 7 mature, 5 fertilized; ET 5/26 - transferred one perfect 1AA blast. 3 snowbabies.
Beta 6/3 - 15.8; Beta 6/7 - 21.8; Beta 6/10 - 7
FET - Transferred 1 AA blast 7/11. Beta 7/20 - 311! Beta 7/22 - 784!! First u/s 8/10

This, if I look half as good I will be a very happy camper.
As far as the NT scan goes I don't believe it is covered so I guess we will opt out but may still get the quad done. So far I have gotten 2 ultra sounds at my OBGYN and I get two extra growth u/s to check for clots and or any other issues with the placenta so I feel like I am already spoiled as far as seeing our little Pookums goes.
Thanks for weighing in ladies having kept it such a secret I have few people to talk about it with.
