Hey! Just wondering if you tried those little smokies that you posted the other day?  I'm thinking about them for NYE.

Thanks!

Oh like we didn't all know that "little smokies" was going to make ME laugh :)

  • I did actually.  I made them for christmas eve and day.  There wasnt one left on the plate either night.  They were awesome!  Christmas eve i made them with the turkey lil smokies because i could only find one package of beef.  I bought the center cut bacon also since its less fatty.  I cut the pound of bacon in three sections then coated each side of bacon with brown sugar and wrapped up the lil smokie and put a tooth pick in it.  I cooked them at 350 until they looked crispy.

the ones on christmas day that we had i wrapped them up the night before and put them in a container in the fridge.  It made kind of a syrup and i poured it over them on the baking sheet.

just like your baking sheet with foil otherwise cleanup will be terrible i think.

I think this will be my go to app to bring to someones house.  3 ingredients and fast prep if for me.

And I'm glad they worked out!  I'm definitely going to try these out for NYE.  Thanks for the tips!
