Has any one done a lego party? ideas? thinking of doing one in may for my DS who will be turning 4.
thanks!!!
Re: lego party??
Haven't done one but we have 2 nephews who would LOVE one.
I think a Lego cake would be fairly easy. You could make it look like a large brick by cutting the top off of 6 cupcakes, turning the "stumps" upside down ontop of a double layer cake and frosting it all together so it looks cohesive.
You could have a Lego building area for an activity.
If you google Lego birthday party I'm sure you'll get tons of ideas and pictures to look at. Have fun!
My aunt made these types of cakes (having trouble PIP with a Mac) and they turned out really, really cute.
I also like the idea of kids dressing up in overalls and I think it would be super cute.
Is there anything else specific you want to incorporate? Does your kiddo have a fav type of lego man? Construction worker? Astronaut? Otherwise, lots of primary colors for table clothes, plates, cups, etc. You can use MegaBlocks to build up levels for centerpieces or other decorations because they are bigger and easier to make a scene with.
