Morning! I'm stopping on here before I start my cleaning madness. The kids are at daycare today, so I'm going to go through their toys to get rid of toys they don't play with, clean up the ones they do, and move things to different toy boxes. It shoudl be fun times. Oh joy!
Yeah for first steps. How fun.
Awesome. We have decided to start doing that 1st of the year. We are going to go through each room and completely clean it and get rid of stuff. I am on it the beginning of the year and to get more organized.
Yay! Looks like I'm going to need to pull out my "big" backdrop for his 1 year pictures if he is going to be motoring all over the place :-).

Charity, for the last few years, I've been doing a big clean/organize/declutter attack on our house on or around New Year's Day. It's so rewarding to start the new year off that way.
This is my first day back to work and I'm only working two days this week. I wish all weeks were only two-day work weeks.
Haha yup! I expect him to be pretty mobile on all two's (rather than all four's) by then! And squee, I'm so excited. Just this morning I was thinking about what he should wear. Time to go shopping

THe number of people in my household is outnumbered 3 to 1 by Mr. Potato Heads. We are outnumbered about 50 to 1 with Little People.
I also have a huge azz train table I need to find room for.

I'm pretty biased but that hat that J and Pete wore in my xmas card I LOVE. I love Old Navy clothes in general for boys so you should definitely check that out. Also, love the look of a little boy tie either a bow tie or a regular tie with a cool pattern (check out etsy). WE can also try some outside so if he has a nice winter coat, etc. Also, are we doing the cake smash? I haven't done one in forever. A cute party hat (if he'll wear it) would be cute too. I'll have to look through my ideas to see if I have any others. Might also consider doing a Valentine card picture too. I have a few Valentines props?

We have a tie that he didn't get to wear for Christmas...I'll bring that.
Oooh I didn't even think of trying some outside. I'll have to look for a nice coat (that fits him well - his current winter coat fits him so oddly).
OMG Valenties! What props do you have? Bow and arrow? If only I could find him some fluffy white wings...lol.
I think hat and diaper and cake is just fine. That's primarily how I've done it before.
Just an idea for the coat so don't spend a ton. We can just take him outside in whatever he has. Is it OK for boys to wear fur rimmed hood coats? I love the look of the hood over their head so that all you see is their face and the fur. I feel like I've seen that on girls more than boys though.
I have a couple of heart pillows and some plastic candy hearts if I remember correctly. No angel wings though :-(. I should have looked after Halloween!
