  • that's so funny, i can basically see that hotel from my office!

ok so here are some dinner recs for you... the west side of town doesn't really have much in the way of food, so these places are all downtown or on the east/south side of town.

Biscotti's http://www.biscottis.net/ or sister restaurant, BB's http://www.bbsrestaurant.com/ -  biscotti's is in 5-points, which is a fun, young area of town, the food is amazing. bb's is a bit more upscale, great food.

'town http://www.town3611.com/ - all local and seasonal products, everything is a la carte, it's pretty pricey, but amazing. right across from biscotti's

III Forks http://iiiforks.com/location.php it's in a newer area of town called tapesty park, it's an upscale steak house, pricey but the quality is spot on. Another steak house option is Ruth Chris, which is on the river downtown.

If you want to drive a bit, the St. John's Town Center is a huge outdoor mall with tons of great restaurants. There's Cantina Laredo, upscale mexican; J. Alexanders, Capitol Grille, Cheesecake Factory, PF Changs, The Fish Market, and The Grape, all chains.

Bistro AIX http://www.bistrox.com/ is a French restaurant, really delicious food, romantic, downtown

and here's a guide with the top 25, many of the ones I mentioned are in there. honestly, there are so darn many good restaurants here, you can't go wrong!
