Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

The snow is killing me!
As you've heard we got a lot of snow here in NYC this week and it totally screwed up my plans! Monday I was scheduled to have all my girlfriends, our moms, sisters and kids over for our annual Christmas get together, which I had to cancel. I had already gone shopping since I was making all sorts of food for it. We hosted Christamas day, so I had leftovers from that too. So here I am with a fridge stuffed with food and no where to go since we were snowed in. I have been cooking like there's no tomorrow and we have been eating as such. It's killing me! Plus since Monday was canceled as well as our trip to NJ to see my grandparents and dad's family I have way too many cookies left. Normally I would have served them on Monday and brought a bunch to NJ. I think I gained my holiday weight in the past 3 days! lol
I had such high hopes for this week, "HA!" said the Blizzard.

Now that you can hopefully get outside, donate to a homeless shelter or some sort.
My mom takes all of our leftover food and cookies to a Christian Men's Center, which is essentially a Salvation Army type facility trying to get people back on their feet.
From my understanding, they take everything. We haven leftovers from turkey to pizza to cookies.
