NYE Plans?

What you up to tomorrow?

We'll be doing an Annual PJ party with our other couple friends with games, etc...

Re: NYE Plans?

  • nothing really special for NYE for us. We'll just stay at home and toast the new year together. IL's are visiting NYD, and on the 2nd we have a holiday party (which I'm currently baking the cake for, lol)

  • we're going to my cousins house for the evening. and since DH and I both like to drink a little, we might end up spending the night if we both drink. It should a pretty fun night, just hanging out with my family since I've haven't had time to breathe since the wedding.. i"ve been packing like crazy..
    Anniversary
  • We're also having a low-key one at home, just the two of us.  we did have other offers, but it's always a nightmare trying to get a cab back home after etc, and we haven't had a weekend at home together since November!

I will be making smoked salmon appertizers and we have french champagne (a wedding gift) so we won't be slumming it!

    Happy new years girls!

Where we met - Mount Isa
a small mining town in the Australian Outback. Neither of us are from there but we both moved there in the second last year of highschool. He was moved next to me in maths class to stop him talking. It didn't work.
  • We will also be having a low key stay at home night. We also haven't had a night at home like this together in quite a while so we are definately looking forward to it. We went and bought our appetizers today. It's always a fun night!

  • We'll be at home too. Might go out to dinner and then watch the ball drop on t.v. I guess. Ha.

My MOH and her husband always do a deal at their house, but H has to open on NYD, so we aren't going home this year. (Plus there was some drama on my shower/bachelorette weekend between me/MOH. Everything is still a little weird.)

  • We went out to dinner, and then back home.  I'm still battling a post-honeymoon cold and now my husband is getting it. :(

Last year we were in Times Square with a million other people, so this year we kept it low key!

  • We went out.  Honestly, I would have preferred low key, but we had made these plans a while back.  We had fun though, there was a band and cocktails and I got to dress up :)
