I think that was you, right? Anyway...
... everyone said it was so hard to get into but once you read past pg. 200 it was great, and then DH started reading the 2nd book and he said it's awesome right from the beginning. So, to solve this dilemma, I watched the MOVIE this weekend (did you even know there was one???) and it was amazing. It's in Swedish w/ subtitles but i didn't care and was totally hooked; now I can't wait for DH to finish book 2 so I can snag it!

It's funny you should post this, because my DH is reading the second book now and we were talking about the movie last night! I have heard the Swedish movie is really good. I have also heard that they are making and English/American version of the movie, with Daniel Craig as Blomkvist. I can't imagine who they'll get to play Lisbeth. I'm afraid they're going to Hollywoodize it and get like some hot actress to play her... we'll see.

I just finished GWTDT and I agree, it took awhile to get into it, but I had been warned about it, so I'm glad I knew that or I might have stopped reading it. I have the 2nd & 3rd books too and I'm anxious to start the 2nd one, I've heard it awesome too! I'll have to check into seeing the movie too.
