bachelorette party game ideas

Just wondering if anyone had any game ideas they have enjoyed at a bach party... Throwing a party for my friend soon and we are doing the typical bar hop thing (her choice) and since I believe the movie "27 dresses" to be loosesly based on her life, we are all wearing the dresses she wore in our weddings (or in another wedding, if she wasn't in someone's).

I want to come up with a fun game to do on the party bus or at the bar. Any ideas? One I really liked at a party was to bring a pair of underware for the bride that would "describe" you and the bride had to guess who brought each pair. So I was thinking something like this but maybe that could tie in with the dresses? Any ideas are helpful... games or otherwise! Thanks xxx

Re: bachelorette party game ideas

  • having to put a condom on a twinkie is ALWAYS fun. haha. i've done that one a few times!

this you couldnt do at a bar (maybe on a bus though?) but it was so fun...we did it at my good friends party this fall. you get string, hotdogs, and mouse traps...tie the hot dog on the string and around your waist. then whoever sets off the trap first wins. it's pretty funny to watch.

  • This isn't really a game, but it still hilarious.

As the bride is opening her gifts, someone writes down all of the remarks she has when she opens all the gifts. You can write down what others say, too, if you think it's going to be funny. This is especially great if she gets lots of lingerie or toys and other sexy stuff. After the gift opening, the person who wrote it all down strings all of the comments together and makes a 'story' about their wedding night that is read aloud.

Kinda hard to describe, but it turned out so funny and everyone got a great laugh!

  • IDK if this is really a "game", but my BM did this for me at my b-party. You could do it a different way.

My wedding was 10/30 & my birthday is 10/31. My wedding was not halloween themed (Fall), but my b-party was.

My BM got us all cloth Halloween tote bags, & DIYed etched drinking glasses. Then, she set up Trick Or Treating in her apartment! She had buckets full of candy, bubble necklaces, halloween note pads & pens, all kinds of stuff.

You could do this, but a different way. Maybe put out bins of lipglosses, nail polish, condoms, lotion, any girly or theme things.

  • I've thrown (or attended) so many of these I feel like a pro.

You can always have attendees/guests bring lingerie for her to open on the party bus.

When my sister got married, we went downtown and I had made up a list of things she had to do - titled "Last fling before the bling".  They were semi-embarassing things (ie: get 4 business cards, do the macarena with another guy, have a fake proposal, sit on a motorcycle, make a toilet paper bouquet and throw it to another group of girls, find another fellow bachelorette celebrating, etc) and each item had a point value given to it.  She had to get a certain amount to get a prize.  And each item had to be documented with a picture.  (It made for an awesome scrapbook later!)  Her prize was a little gift basket we put together for her with honeymoon related items in it.

  • Don't have a party game idea but a great idea to keep in mind for the bridal shower...a book called The PMS (Please Make Sense) Guide for Men!!  Every bride NEEDS this book (it's not only geared for men even though the title sounds like it).  I got it for my shower as a "gag" gift and I loved it!  Since then, I have bought a copy for all of my friends that are getting married. I found it on Amazon.
