I don't have children yet, but can bet I'd feel the same way! My DH has a cold right now and you'd think it was the plague.

  • In my house I'm the one that's a baby when I'm sick. DH is actually pretty good when he's sick. He had planned PTO this week, but  he's been sick all this week too. However he has spent the entire week  spackling, priming and doing other house projects. :)

I wish!! MH came home from work not feeling well and you would have thought I had 2 heads when I asked him if he could feed the dog and let her out!  hahah! I wasn't doing much....laundry, cooking dinner, feeding the kids, giving baths, and bed!

This gave me a chuckle.  DH is equally dramatic with missing out on sleep.  I've been getting 6 hours of broken sleep at night...not as much as I'd like. I woke him 'early' by a half hour this morning because I needed some help.  He only got 7 hours last night.  And he was soooo tired that even two naps ( 1/2 hour and a 10 minute nap) didn't cut it.
