Good evening ladies,
Who is lounging around like me tonight? DH is already sleeping (he works at 4am), and lately I have been having the worst time getting to sleep! I have been taking some benedryl to make me drousy but I think I'm getting immune, haha.
I'm hosting my first NYE party tomorrow and I'm stressing a little about all the cooking and cleaning I have to do tomorrow - ugh! I could probably be doing some of that now since I'm awake but that just is not going to happen!
Anyone else hosting tomorrow?

I wish I was having a NY's party! I am actually off, but I work Satuday morning which sucks, so we didn't make big plans.
Now I feel like a loser. Although I am cooking a lot of snack foods for us tomorrow, to make me feel better! lol

I was an absolute bum today and stayed in my pjs and played playstation and worked on my parents wedding albums...I have to go to bed in a bit for work in the morning....
and I still have no idea what I'm doing tomorrow night ??? My sister usually has a huge party every year, but she is now 5 1/2 months pregnant, so no party

I am super bored... Reruns on TV, Hubby is playing his computer game and everyone of my girlfriends are either working or out with my other girlfriends.... Ugh the disadvantage of having kids with out a live in nanny lol. I might go up and pester Chris... He hates when I ask him a hundred questions about his game

I actually bought the stuff to make one of the ones you posted, with the raspberry sorbet. Haven't made it yet, but sounds good!

I wasn't on earlier today because I was buying my new car!! I will have to post a pic on FB, I am boycotting PIP on TN.

Liz - I am with you, hosting a party is so much work. As much as I like being home in my new house, it is stressful! I am dreading doing all the work for tomorrow night. When I hosted for Bryans family for Christmas Eve, Bryan came home from work before everyone got there and I was sitting one the basement stairs with the broom and swiffer saying "i'm not gonna make it" LOL.
You'll find something fun to do last minute, even if its just low key!
I have a feeling we will be ringing in the new year, snoring! LOL
I am making cheese dip (the kind with hamburger and velveeta and hot sausage and rotel tomatoes)
Sausage balls
A cheese ball (the onion soup kind)
Turkey and cheese sandwiches. I make little bitty ones on rolls and brush the tops with btter and bake them all together wth prov and mozz, mmm)
And we have a veggie tray and some peel and eat shrimp.
Plus the punch!
Lotsa crap for two people with no plans! hahaa
I lied! we're not doing "nothing". we're having snack foods and stuff, but that's pretty much it. watching the ball drop on tv. so we are celebrating...just not anything exciting. :-P

H is off tomorrow so he's playing some online poker, let's hope he wins something. Two weeks ago he won 2k in a tourney so my fingers are crossed! I'm on my 3rd glass of wine and definitely feeling it, vacation only lasts for so long
I want to do something for NYE, but I have a sinus infection and not really suitable to be around people, I'm pretty disgusting actually, haha. I was hoping some people would want to come over here, but everyone already has something to do and it's really just as well.
I think everything mentioned above sounds delicious! I need some punch, I LOVE punch, I may make Jeremy go out and buy me stuff to make punch! yum
We'll probably ring in the new year playing Just Dance 2 on Wii, because it's awesome!

We're doing a nice dinner with my bff and her boyfriend and then we're heading to my friends party. I was supposed to bring the wine that I'm drinking tonight, oops! Guess I'll have to stop by the liquor store tomorrow.
did yours call for "canned chicken"??? I've never, ever, ever even heard of canned chicken and almost every recipe I was finding called for it...I just cubed chicken cutlet, floured it and sauteed it in the hot sauce

I've made Buffalo Chicken Dip before and it did call for canned chicken. Really, before that I didn't really know they made canned chicken either, but it's really nice! We actually buy it at Sam's now, it's good chicken and it's good for chicken salad, which we love in this house!
