Thanks to all who replied to my previous post!

DH & I are heading to NYC on Saturday.  I used to live there and am very familiar with the city but it's been a few years since I've been back.  I'm looking for a few more suggestions on non-fancy restaurants and things to do.

Here's what we've got so far...

Things to do/see:

Eataly
Chelsea Market
The Highline
Scott's Pizza Tour
Rock of Ages on Broadway?
Ice Skating  (either Rock Center or Central Park
Top of the Rock/ NBC Tour (this should be interesting as I am a former NBC Page)

Definitely see Rock of Ages. I saw it in Boston and it was great. I've never seen a crowd get into a show so much.  People were singing and dancing.  Doing the rock fingers (I don't know what it's called, but hopefully you know what I mean). They handed out fake lighters and people were waving them to the slower songs.  The actors even interacted with the audience and did some ad libbing too.  H thought it was the best show he's ever seen.  We had so much fun.
