Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Re: Kindle lending!

  • :( I'm very sad I'm Kindle-less. And thinking about the fact that at one point today while H and I were at the casino, I was up to $139, I really should have just stopped, cashed out, came home and bought a Kindle!
  • While I DO think you need a Kindle, I have to say that the lending feature is kind of pathetic at the moment.  I don't have a ton of books right now (only about ten that I paid for), but only one is lend-able.  Apparently it's up to the discretion of the publisher and it may take a while for the transition.  I'm hoping it's sort of like Netflix Instant Play, which had a really meager selection at first but eventually caught on so that a lot more titles were available (and more are added all the time).  Hopefully the lending feature becomes usable!
