I know many of you had to work last week and probably don't have much sympathy for me, but I'm back to work today and think I would rather have been trampled by a herd of elephants.  I have my days and nights so completely assbackwards I didn't get to sleep until almost 4am.  Shoot.me.now.  There isn't enough coffee in the county for me today.  I think I will now start a petition for nap time after lunch.  :-)

I feel your pain with being backwards and being back at work. I had two weeks off so definitely not feeling this whole work thing. I even tried going to sleep early but nada. I was up half the night and wishing I drank coffee right about now. Oh and I'm a genius and just left my computer at my other school. Thank you Lord I have a smart phone or I'd be going insane.

Agreed!  I've been off since 12/24 and it sucks being back.  I have a butt load of emails to catch up on and people who want to tell me in detail about their last week, not sure I care to hear or deal with it. There was hardly anyone here, I get it.  I don't need to hear about how you cleaned your entire office!

I'm dead this morning. H caught my cold from last week so HE was the one tossing and turning last night.

Andplusalso, my friend from Syracuse came out for the day yesterday and spent the night at my place, along with MOH. So we were drinking electric lemonades and watching Dollhouse and Firefly on netflix until 1:30AM and I had to get up at 6:30AM to walk the dog. 

I had a ton of work that I started last week, but needed other people who weren't here to finish it. Now I've got all of that rolling back in. 

AND, I forgot my lunch (cheesecake factory leftovers!) at home and I'm pretty sure MOH is just going to eat them.

Today blows.

My Monday has started out pretty boring... I am playing around with my new droid phone and trying not to get too addicted to Angry Birds and other really fun apps. Swype is pretty cool too! H got a new phone too, so we spent WAY too much moola yesterday too. On the last day of deer season, H finally got a nice doe, so we had to go buy a small chest freezer to hold all the meat when it gets done. I really need to get a job. It's not even funny anymore. I.m SOOOO tired of being broke all the time. *sigh*

#1 - Just give up the fight now.  There's no such thing as not getting addicted to Angry Birds.  Once you've found it, I'm afraid you're done for. :-)

#2 - We had to do the same thing.  K shot not just one, but two does a couple of weeks ago and our freezer was already stuffed full.  Thank God I won't have to buy any meat for the next...forever.  It almost makes up for the cost of the freezer. :-)

You can tell me I'm weird, but I am always strangely comforted by a full freezer - or refrigerator.  It's like all is right with the world.  I know, I'm odd.

Today is going to suck, if only because I'm coming down with the cold that everybody else has passed around since Christmas.  Despite my best hand-washing, vitamin C inhaling efforts.  This is going to be lousy.

Only 5 more days til the weekend!

Yup! Monday def can suck it! By 7:30-7:45 I had already had it.

 Starting off with one of my sub texting me at 6am that she is not able to make it in today.. GREAT! you woke me up AND I really don't have anyone else to come in.

I knocked into this shelves/ case type thing we have in our kitchen broke a picture frame and shot glass as I was trying to get outside to bring the puppy out. Now I have to try and make sure he doesn't get cut all while I am not overly awake.

Then my phone was being wierd and the track ball on my BB wasn't letting me do anything and just moving around on it's own. KInda hard to try and call people/text this am about work.

 Oh and all of this was making me run late and I had to bring H to work today. Work doesn't care if I'm a little late but I HATE to be late,

At least the rest of the AM is way better then the morning.

Today actually isn't going bad, I didn't roll into work until about 9:45. It was hard getting up this morning. I took a shower last night because I knew I wasn't going to feel like it this morning. Now our phones are down here at work so it hasn't rang at all. And the phone company is on there way but that means they might be here by lunch. I am going to do payroll then I have nothing to do all day.

Things I would rather be doing than being at work today:

- Getting a root canal and/or tooth extraction

- Going to a Kesha concert

- Being a clown at a kid's birthday party

- Watching a Will Ferrell movie marathon

- Weighing in at a Weight Watchers or Jenny Craig meeting

That's funny, debdeb!

I was a little late because my iPhone alarm didn't go off...and my back-up (because I knew of the problem) was H's alarm, which he for some reason turned off instead of snoozing, even though he normally snoozes.  Grr.  Ah, well. 

We have this one POS guy here (gotta love government work!) who called in sick today, his first day back after vacation.  Sigh.  And he somehow doesn't have ANY sick leave, even though he's been here almost 20 years.

Eh, it's okay. not a kitten and rainbows day but nothing too stressful....yet. DH and I did get woken up by coyotes howling at 2am this morning. Never heard them before near our place and usually we're both heavy sleepers but not this morning. I must have heard 6-8 but not sure if it was 2 actually howling and having their howl echo. I wonder if they snatched up any of the feral cats outside?

That coyote howl freaks me out. Not long after we moved into our place I work up early in the AM because I heard what I thouht was the sound of someone "killing puppies", that is the only thing I can compare it to.  I found out a few weeks later that it was the sound of coyotes howling.  Needless to say, I felt so stupid.  It was only the coyotes, not a ritualistic sacrifice as I had originally thought.

I woke up with pinkeye this morning, so instead of going to work for the first time in weeks, I waited for two hours at student health only for them to tell me that there's nothing they can do (it's viral) and that I can't go back to work yet

So today Jeff went to work, and I didn't.  Lame.
