Asking (no, begging) for T&Ps UPDATED

My boss told me last week that she was coming in late because of a doc appt. Well, an hour ago, she called and asked me to make sure some reports were on her desk because she was coming in to get them and then she would bring them home to review but was not staying to work. I knew somthing was up. I even told her boss about the strange call just to let him know something wasn't right. I mentioned to him that it sounded like she had been crying and had just pulled herself together enough to call me. Well, 30 mins later she called and said she wasn't coming in at all and broke down crying saying she was having surgery at 2pm today. I have no idea why the surgery is needed. I know she is over 40 with a 18 month old and that she had trouble conceiving him. I have a feeling that the surgery is female related, but that is all speculation. I know none of you know her, but if you have any prayers available, please send them her way. You can just send them towards Roseville, I am sure they will get to her.

I just got an update from her. She had a m/c at 11 weeks and is having a D&C today, at 2pm. I sent her flowers as a "Thinking of You." I feel so sad for her. It breaks my heart this is happening to her.
