Daycare/sitter/nanny help
So, I really want to avoid a big daycare if I can.
We have no family here to watch LO once he arrives (which I hate but we'll make it work). I will be taking 12 weeks of maternity leave and then I need to take him somewhere. I'd love to have him in a home daycare or with a SAHM who's looking for extra cash. I really don't know where to look though.
Can ANYONE help. Does anyone know of others who watch kids at their house or would be willing to take one in for some $??? I live in Gilbert and work in Tempe so it's gotta be in the East Valley.
Thanks so much, ladies.

Re: Daycare/sitter/nanny help
Do you have a thought as far as $$ you are willing to pay. I can keep my eyes peeled and know some other SAHM's that I could see about.
haha most of the moms I know CD as well.
What kinds did you end up deciding on.
And did you see that BG AIO's are being discontinued so most places are selling them cheap!
Can't wait to meet my baby boy!
i have a friend who works in one of the larger churches in the east valley, several churches have a list of resources that they can email you - including at home daycares
If only you and Papa Bob lived closer, I would!
Is there a way to find this online as we don't go to church? I know, I know, VERY bad. We plan to start again, I swear.
Cant help you with knowing anyone, but here is a link that might help you:

TTC Journey Over~ Not By Choice
My only advice in choosing a day care solution for your child is to make sure if you choose an in home daycare provider that it is someone you either know VERY well or that you've checked out very thoroughly.
I initially wanted to choose something smaller for my son but i started to freak out about the fact that there might not be more than just one adult with eyes on my child daily. I like our daycare center. It's not overly large and not a"chain" day care provider. It's at a Lutheran Church/School near our house. I like the fact that there are four teachers in his class alone and that's four adults who are looking out for him. In addition, the other classes are staffed as well.
For infants I don't think being alone is such a big deal but I also love that now that my son is two, he gets so much activity in a day with six or seven other two year olds. They do so much and he is being taught so much. It's like pre-school for much less! Plus, when it's time for pre-school next year, he'll be able to stay at his current school.
Anyway...that's my two (more like 6) cents! Good luck it is truly a difficult decision.
im not sure its online but you can just call or email them. i can fb msg you some church links if you want..
