Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

F/U to my thermostat
Earlier Sat eve I was putting stuff away in the basement and M flipped the switch to the heater a few times before i could run over and grab his hand. Fast forward a few hours, went to turn the heat up before bed and there was no display on the thermostat.. I called DH to see if he could help me over the phone, he couldn't talk long since he was working. I flipped some fuses back and forth. So we had no heat for the night, I slept restless. Finally waking up Sunday and googling some troubleshooting tips. Thought it was maybe a fuse or etc in the heather.. well DH explained to me about a light and a code from the blinking light. Well come to find out, the stupid switch is backwards, up is off and down is on! UG and I would never have imagined that being off would make the display go off on the heater.. Good news is, nothing was wrong so no money spent!
