our furniture is cherry, the walls are pale blue, there will be yellow accents, the doors are white and i think the trim is like an oak wood color (but i'm not sure right now)

 

 what color hamper do i go with?

I'd do natural or honey, depending on which won't clash with the oak. Is it more of a red oak? Than probably honey.

I think white is more nursery-ish, but espresso more versatile.

I vote for the honey color.

honey it is! i think the espresso may be too dark and the honey goes better with other stuff we have if we want to use in a different room in the future.
