Any recommendations for Scottsdale girls trip

I posted on the travel board, but didn't get much response.  A friend and I are looking to stay in Scottsdale Old Town area for 2 nights the first week of Feb for a nice getaway.  We found a great deal on the Doubletree Paradise Valley Resort.  Is this a nice place for a girls trip, or could we do better?  Any other recommendations for restaurants or shopping areas or spas?

Re: Any recommendations for Scottsdale girls trip

  • For my bachelorette my girls & I stayed at the Hotel Valley Ho (dont be deceived by the name) http://www.hotelvalleyho.com/scottsdalehotels/index.html in Old Town Scottsdale but it is a little expensive. I have never been to the DoubleTree so I can't give you my opinion on this.

Are you looking to go out or just eat & whatnot?? Dirty Pretty (www.dirtypretty.com) is a good club to go to but everyone dresses up there. There is also American Junkie (americanjunkieaz.com) which people either dress up or down - whatever you are comfortable in, The Rusty Spur (www.rustyspursaloon.com) is a good bar - really low key & doesn't really pick up until after 10pm.

Scottsdale Fashion Square is a really big, awesome mall. Which is in the heart of Scottsdale too.

I hope this helps you! :)
