Yup, I have been MIA for over a week.  Sorry.  I was on vacation.

Back to your regularly scheduled daily.

 

Airlines, BITE ME.  Seriously.  With all the money you assclowns are getting from the BILLIONS of tickets that are being used a YEAR, you can FIX THE DAMN PLANES.  I am so tired of getting a delay due to "mechanical issues".  Seriously, how do you keep the planes in the AIR???

I got new pans for a christmas gift from my parents. My brother (who lives with us) isn't the worlds best cook, and he kind of sucks at cleaning the dishes (though he does try), was making a sandwich in one of my brand new pans, and had the dang thing so hot it was smoking. I told him the pan was too hot and to turn it down, and he said it's fine..well, when my pretty, brand new, expensive pan is smoking, it's not fine. I'm afraid he's going to hurt them. I know this is dumb, but I can't tell him to do anything. He won't hear it, then I walk away pissed. Ugh. He's a great roommate, but sometimes I wish we lived alone.

Well, I don't really know who is to blame on this one, but our apt rent showed up as a pending/hold twice from our acct. I was freaking out that if our other bills hit, we would overdraft. Between H and I, the bank and the apt office faxing them documentation, it is all straightened out now, thank God.

I flame my principal who insists that me and another Bilingual Resource Teacher have to trade writing classes because there needs to be an actual bilingual teacher in the class I'm in (I'm a long term sub) even though I'm doing the same interventions that she would do with the students. I don't want to take her fifth grade class. I don't know how to teach writing to fifth graders!?!? I know how to teach writing to first graders. Which is where I'm at right now. Grrrrr.

I have to say that I am a little pissy at how some people think they can just talk about my weight since I'm pregnant.  When one woman found out, she told me she just thought I was just "happily married".    Another coworker yesterday commented that I was gaining weight in the face.  Someone else said it must be a girl since I was carrying "all over" (i.e. hips and asss- not just stomach).  I really haven't gained that much!  I gained a few this summer before baby, then only about 6 since.  I mean, even if I AM getting heavy (which yea, probably) why does pregnancy turn off everyone's filter?  I already cry at the drop of a hat!!
