Recommend your TV Wall Mount
We need a wall mount for our tv, and I'm having a hard time
choosing. I've found several that would probably work, but other than
photos and online reviews, don't have much else to go on. Does anyone
have one they like? Here's the background info:
--46" flat screen tv, weighs 37lbs
--need mount to pull away from the wall, swivel, and tilt
--prefer double-arm mount (I've read that single arm ones can sag with the weight of the tv)
--really want a low-profile one (people will be walking past the tv) -- as close to the wall as possible (ideally less than 4")
Re: Recommend your TV Wall Mount
We went with a low profile - with a 1.25" thick LED TV, a mount that stuck out into the room would look kind of disproportionate. The swivel rotation is fairly minimal (which was fine with us).
I confess that we didn't put much research into the mount. We picked the low profile mount that Best Buy had that was for our size TV. Done, done, and done.
Mara, this site is awesome for mounts and cables. They are pretty inexpensive but great quality. The buyer for ABC's electronics recommend this site to me.
