Lawyers

Ah the curse...it followed us into 2011.   Another truck down, this time in North Carolina.   turns out the "curse" is in part a series of craptastic truck engines made by a company called Caterpillar (or just CAT) Apparently there is a class action lawsuit in the U.S. that I'd like to research and see if/can it be pursued in Canada.

Yes, i may have to go Erin Brocovich on their asses.  Perhaps this is the big career change a CNer predicted for me in 2011

Re: Lawyers

  • Some of the yachts that F's company builds have CAT engines.  I know there was a class action against them dealing with marine engines.  I haven't read of any dealing with truck engines.
  • I contacted the lawyers in Dallas and they're sending me some sort of package.   Apparently i'm not the first Canadian company to contact them.  CAT has stopped making transport engines altogether (2010)
