Question about knot website.

If I made a wedding webpage on the knot forrrrrever ago when I was engaged to Skyler's Dad ... how do I delete it?? I forgot about for a long time and then made everything private so at least it couldn't be viewed. I want it gone though and can't figure it out. TIA!

Re: Question about knot website.

  • Can you just delete all of the content?

You could also try e-mailing feedback@theknot.com to see if they can help.

Also, I lol-ed when I clicked to your "planning bio" and saw Tamra & Melanie :)

  • LOL! Merin, It wouldn't let me NOT put a significant other!!! I even tried changing it to me being a "bridesmaid" and "other" ... nothing worked. Oh well. I'm considering just deleting my whole account and starting over. I don't know. The reason it's bothering me is because when you google my name it comes up as me and A with a random wedding date. I never put his name on there!! (Unless he did it on one of his random computer hacks), but I just don't want anyone thinking I was ever engaged or married to him. Blech.

The thing is, I don't think that deleting your account will remove that from showing up in searches.  In fact, when I google search, I do see what you're talking about, but I can't even find the webpage that it is supposedly on?!  It just takes me to some people search site with A's name and I can't even find it on there.  Are you able to find the actual webpage with that crap on it?  Are you sure it's not an account that HE set up??   The interwebs are evil sometimes!!

  • Oh, and FWIW, Google seems to be the only site that gives that result when searching your name.  Bing, Yahoo, etc. don't come up with that at all....

  • No, I can't find the actual page either. Hmmm. Thanks for your help!! I guess I'll just ignore it. The important people in my life know it's not true. :o)
