Restaurant Rec Downtown
Hi ladies! I am looking for a new restaurant idea in downtown GR. I am taking my mom to Dralion next Sunday and want to go out to eat either before or after. Somewhere walking distance to Van Andel would be nice, but not absolutely necessary. We have done Bistro Bella Vista and Charlie's Crab so many times, I think I need something new! Thank you!

My husband and I just recently just went to 25 Kitchen and Bar and LOVED it. They're right next to Van Andel and just down the way from Bistro Bella Vita. They had a great crab stuffed mushrooms and awesome pizza.
We have enjoyed San Chez, One Trick Pony and Hopcat, all of which are very close.
Wop, thanks for the feedback on 25 Kitchen/Bar! I've been wondering about that place ever since we browsed their ArtPrize pieces.
No prob. Be sure to check their website. They have an amazing happy hour M-Sat. We had 4 drinks total (2 each), 2 appetizers, and 2 pizzas for around $30. Definitely worth checking out.
Leo's is a block away from Van Andel and they are seafood/steak. You can make a reservation here too. (corner of Lyons & Ottawa)
Big O's is good and they are right next to Leo's. They are pizza/pasta type of restaurant. (on corner of Ottawa & Monroe Center)
Tre Cugini is someplace I have eaten at there lunch buffet when they used to have it and it was delicious. I would love to go there for dinner sometime. (this is on Monroe Center between Monroe & Ottawa)
