Interesting.  There are things on the list that I think will definitely go away and others I'm not so sure about.  It would be interesting to look back at this list in 20 years and see what went away and what stayed.

That list just makes me sad! I still like to send handwritten letters, and own VHS movies- does this mean I'm not cool anymore???

I disagree with a lot of this list (and not just because I have a VCR -- I'm sure that's going the way of the 8-track player).  People have been predicting the end of books/magazines/newspapers forever, but it just isn't happening.  Never mind the studies that say we comprehend text differently from paper, it's obvious that its a preferred method of reading for far too many.  Newspapers, maybe, but magazines and books will remain, I'm certain.  I also think that paper maps will stick around (if only in atlas form), and although I don't understand it, everyone seems to like watches, especially for men.
