Sorry, should have been more detailed!
DH has a conference at a hotel (forgot the name) but its like 7 miles outside downtown Atlanta. We will have a car so I can go anywhere around Atlanta.
I'm interested in anything uniquely Atlanta. For example, when we get questions like this on the San Antonio board we typically suggest the Riverwalk/Alamo, Seaworld, La Cantera (shopping), etc.
I'm a photographer as well, so if there are any events or picturesque locations those would be of interest as well.

Photos of the Atlanta Skyline are gorgeous! There are several good places to go like the 17th St. Bridge at night.

I also noticed your bio so I looked up some of the restaurants and will try a few from your list, thanks for having that up!
Finally got a few more details, we'll actually be in Norcross. From what I can tell that puts us about 30 minutes-ish outside of downtown which doesn't bother me at all.
If you think of anything else, please let me know. Thanks again, much appreciated and very excited!
Norcross is more like 15-20 minutes from downtown, Buckhead, Virginia-Highlands, and all of the hot spots.
