I just wanted to say THANK YOU for the info about standing up when you get a charlie horse. I got another one this morning on my right leg and I think you saved me from being unable to walk tomorrow.... I am still limping from the one I got in my left leg. I felt it start coming on this morning and luckily I remembered to stand up, it went away immediately! Thanks again.

This is good to know.  I get these all the time in my left leg.  It hurts for like 2 days after.  I will have to try this next time.

It seriously stopped IMMEDIATELY! I was amazed.

I am so glad it helped you! It's strange how that works, isn't it? It's such a intense, crippling pain that sometimes it takes my sleepy brain takes a few moments to remember to hop out of bed, but thank goodness it goes right away then. They are awful!

Yes, its very strange. I am just thankful there is a way to end it.

I was always told to push my foot flat against the footboard/wall and they always went away immediately
