Instead of Randoms....

Can we do Friday Flame Free Confessions?

I'll start.

I hate it when pregnant women make their husbands do all the housework and wait on them hand and foot.

You're pregnant, not disabled.

I'm seeing a lot of this on FB. People keep posting that they made their husbands do everything because their pregnant and should be able to just sit around for 9 months.

  • I CANNOT stand it when a bride/groom complain about wedding guests not giving a gift.  Seriously, a wedding is a celebration and a time to be with friends and family, NOT a gift grab.  Who cares if they didn't get you a gift?  Grow up already!   There were probably a handful of people who didn't give us a gift for our wedding, but I really don't care.  I'm happy they showed up to celebrate such a wonderful day with us.  If you spend a ton of money on your wedding and feel like your guests owe it to you to give you a gift, well then you had a wedding for the wrong reasons.

this.  Plus when they start doing the math and realize the gift costs less then the dinner offered.  Really people?  People give what they can afford.

This made me LOL.  I remember when I was 22 weeks pregnant, I "felt" that I couldn't bend over comfortably, so I asked H to tie my shoes for me.  He had no problem doing it!  Haha.  Stick out tongue

HA! I started wearing pull-on clodhoppers around week 24. :D

  • I hate reading/hearing about friends who are on this "no junk food" kick that they start evvvvvery January 1st. Here's a tip: EAT RIGHT and exercise year-round, and the new year won't be such a burden. Novel idea. So tired of (yes, one week in) them griping about "giving in" to a donut or a froofy Starbucks drink.

THAT doesn't bug me. I'm talking the ones that are maybe 6 weeks along and decide that they aren't going to do anything at all for themselves.

    You couldn't bend over...that's acceptable :)

But a 6 weeks pregnant woman with no issues--she can do some things for herself.

  • While I enjoy cooking and find recipes to make. I would like a night or two off and have someone else cook for me. I don't mean going out to eat or getting Pizza wether.
  • Since this is flame free Wink, I will confess that OMG OMG OMG my baby is going to be 1 in a week!!!  I am so excited.  I took the day off of work to celebrate with him even though I fully know he won't know/remember/have a clue what is going on.

Also, I have spent too much and I plan on spending some more on his party.

  • I cant stand it when you are going the road and something didnt brush off the top of their car so its blowing right into your windshield. I also cant stand it when you are going down the highway and someone decides to use their windshield fluid in front of you - thanks for the back splash idiot. LOL

Would you rather I crash my car in front of you because I can't see?

  • Yeah, I'm pregnant and I still can do stuff :) The only thing that I noticed about being pregnant is that I cannot do some of the stuff I used to with helping like cat litter, help with some remodeling/painting (I'm the tyfpe that would be right there with him).  I DO joke occasionally like "oh, I can't reach the remote" lol...he knows it's a joke.  We laugh.

I can't it when people hug my bumper on icy roads.  I'm the type of driver that will pull over in a safe area to let that person pass but I hate it when they hug your bumper so tight that it's dangerous.

I can't stand being the oldest couple in our birthing class where everyone is 18/19 and only one other couple is married.  This is makes me sad to know that I will be 55 (DH will be 58)  when my child is 20.  Ha!!

No but I think some people do it on purpose.

Hmm  I don't see how anyone could do this on purpose.  I mean with the wind velocity, it's only natural that some of the fluid is going to be carried over the car and on to yours.  Some cars just have bad angles on their fluid sprayers too, it's not the driver's fault.  And what's the big deal?  It's not going to hurt your car.  Is it that you then have to wash your windshield too?

Hmm  What?  Of course people use their windshield fluid on purpose - for the purpose of being able to see out of their windshield.  You never need to use it while driving down the road?  Weird.

  • Why is it that some people look at those who are self-employed are some sort of different class of citizen? I've had the feeling from a few people when I tell them that DH is self-employed, that they feel sorry for me b/c he doesn't have a "real" job. WTH? Sorry my Ryan is a go getter and doesn't conform to your old fashioned business standards.

  • The UPS driver put a note on our door stating that they will try a 2nd attempt on Monday instead of leaving it at the office like they are SUPPOSED to do. Anyways I am going to the office on Clyde Park tonight to get it. It's Mike's new Android ph. **sighs** LOL

Is is supposed to snow today or is it just flurrying? I dont think it can make up its mind.

I'm an offender of this. I can't stand to have stuff all over my window. It's not like it messes up your window or something....

I'm gonna have to third the Hmm

  • If you are tailgating me going down the interstate, for NO REASON AT ALL, you can bet your hiney that I'm going to choose that moment to wash my windshield.  It generally gets them to back off.  And if they decide to be a trailer again, then I will do it again.  And usually, they get the hint.

    *snerk*

Yes, I'm a b!tch like that, but if you are absolutely tailgating me because you think it's fun/funny, then you are going to see my not-so-nice and not-so-courteous side.
